How it works
How the Fit Check Works
Horsepower
The tractor's PTO or engine horsepower against the range the implement maker publishes, using the same basis the maker uses.
Hitch and lift
The implement's hitch category against the tractor's, and its weight against the tractor's 3-point lift 24 in behind the lift points.
Loader
For grapples and forks, the loader's coupler type and its lift at the pivot pins against the attachment's weight and rating.

Why does an implement show "check first"?
Everything published lines up, but one thing can't be confirmed from the published specs, such as a Category 1 limited hitch, a loader coupler that may need an adapter, or a loader that needs a third function valve for a grapple.
