What This Site Covers
Farm Equipment Compare covers one thing: the equipment used to catch, hold and work cattle. That means squeeze chutes, headgates, crowding tubs and sweeps, alleys, panels, loading chutes and portable corral systems from Arrowquip, Priefert, W-W, Tarter, Titan West, Pearson, Silencer, Behlen and Salt Creek.
Each page answers a buying question with the prices and specs side by side: what a chute costs, manual against hydraulic, one brand against another, or which chutes fit a budget or a herd size.
How Prices Are Checked
Every price comes from a public listing: a manufacturer price list, a dealer’s product page, or a farm store such as Tractor Supply, Farm and Ranch Store, Howard Stores or Ackerman’s. Where a dealer shows both a regular and a sale or cash price, the page shows both or the range.
Each page carries the date its prices were last checked. Prices are rechecked every quarter, and sooner when a manufacturer changes its list. Freight is extra on nearly all of this equipment and is not included in any price here.
Specs such as length, weight, headgate type and warranty come from the manufacturer. Where a spec is not published, the table shows a dash rather than a guess.
How the Site Is Paid
Some links to retailers are affiliate links. When you buy through one, the retailer may pay this site a commission. The price you pay is the same.
