Used squeeze chute prices
Older and smaller manual chutes sell for about $1,300 to $3,200 on classifieds. A used Priefert RC98M listed at $2,500 and an RC22AI at $5,750. A 2022 Silencer Ranch hydraulic sold for $16,000 against more than $21,000 new. A Pearson manual chute with trailer sold for $7,500.
Check the headgate latch and squeeze locks under load, look for cracked welds at the hinge points, and check the floor for rot or rust-through before paying for a used chute.
Length and weight
A 90-inch, 1,000-pound chute is built for smaller cattle. A 145-inch, 2,700-pound chute holds bulls and big cows without flexing.
Squeeze style
Single-side squeeze costs less. Both-sides and parallel squeeze hold the animal centered and add cost.
Floor
Steel floating floors come standard on entry chutes. Rubber floors cut noise and slipping and show up on heavier models.
Side access
Drop-down bars, removable panels and side exits let you reach the animal and release a downed cow. More access means more cost.

What is the cheapest new squeeze chute?
The Tarter CattleMaster Series 3 at $2,999 at Tractor Supply is the lowest-priced full chute found in September 2026. Tarter does not recommend it for horned cattle.
How much is a hydraulic squeeze chute?
Ranch hydraulic chutes run about $14,700 to $25,000. Feedlot hydraulic chutes run $25,000 to $33,000. Add $2,800 to $5,700 when the power unit is sold separately.
Why is there a sale price and a regular price?
Many dealers list a regular retail price and a cash or sale price. W-W’s cash prices at Ackerman’s run 20 to 30 percent below retail. This page lists the range when both show.
Do squeeze chute prices include a headgate?
Most complete chutes include a headgate. A headgate bought alone runs $1,000 to $2,500.
How much does freight cost on a squeeze chute?
It depends on distance and weight. Get a freight quote before comparing two dealers, since the lower sticker price can lose to a closer dealer.
What squeeze chute should a small farm buy?
For under 50 head, a manual chute in the $4,000 to $8,000 range such as the Priefert S04, W-W Beefmaster or Arrowquip 7500 covers vaccinating, tagging and pregnancy checking.
